To truly appreciate this artist, you must sit back, close your eyes and let it seep into your being. So, so special.
Moddi ~ Silhouette
A little jazzy, soulful rock for you.
One of my pet peeves with the industry is pigeonholing an artist to a specific genre. Take James Morrison, for example. He is touted as a pop artist. Is he? Really? Sure, he has hit the top charts for pop, but in my opinion, this is because so much of his music resonates with the masses. Listen to his intonations. Listen to his syncopation. Blues? Rock? Pop? Does it really matter… other than the fact that others NEED to classify. Not me. I love him for his talent and what his music does to my soul.
Speaking of acoustic, ahhhh, Brandon Boyd. This man is magic. His talent, his intellect, the baring of his soul in his lyrics ~ He is in my top three favorite artists… quite possibly my favorite.
Here is a sneak peek at Chris Cornell’s Songbook 2, which will be released tomorrow. The simple beauty of a beautiful, soulful voice and a guitar.
Bliss.
Speaking of blues… Jonny Lang owns it! Just take a listen. You will not be disappointed.
Jonny Lang ~ Lie To Me
I love me some blues! Gary Clark Jr. has been touted as the Savior of Soul. His talents are equated to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. I am going to be following his career as it skyrockets. I suggest you do too ;)

I’m a bit slow on the uptake here… just discovered Goyte. Love! This video is a.maze.
